The Planning Commission was an institution in the Government of India, which formulated India's
Five-Year Plans, among other functions. It is located at Yojana Bhawan,
Sansad Marg, New Delhi.
It was established in accordance with article
39 of the constitution which is a part of directive principles of state
policy.
